For years, this sand sculpture of Christ, created by sand artist Ted Conibear (1906-1994), graced the roadside along Hwy 89A, north of Sedona.  Unfortunately, vandalism took its toll over the years, to the point where it was removed in the early 90's.  I (Pat Schilling Photography) created this in-camera double exposure of the Christ Sculpture, and the Chapel of the Holy Cross, in 1978.
